Zack Greinke Fans 7 Dodgers Shutout Padres 3-0

Zack Greinke had a strong outing and the Los Angeles Dodgers recovered after being swept to shutout the San Diego Padres 3-0. The Dodgers were swept by the Giants in their last series and looked for some revenge tonight.
Greinke got the start for the Dodgers. He pitched 7 strong innings allowing 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. He picked up his 3rd win of the season. He improved to a perfect 3-0 on the year.
On the other hand Andrew Cashner got the start for the Padres. He pitched 7 innings as well. He allowed 6 hits, 2 runs, and struck out 6. He did walked one batter and picked up the loss. His record this season is now 1-3.
The Dodgers got started in the 2nd inning. Juan Uribe hit a RBI single to center that brought in Yasmani Grandal. The game would go scoreless until the 7th.
Yasiel Puig left the game in the 6th due to his hamstring continuing to bother him.
Carl Crawford hit a solo shot to right field in the 7th. It was his first of the year.
Joc Pederson hit a sacrifice fly in the 9th that allowed Grandal to score.
Yimi Garcia came on in the 9th and picked to 2 strikeouts as he earned his 1st save of his career.
The Dodgers and Padres will continue their series tomorrow night at 5:40 p.m. PST.
