Z-Bo’s Triple-Double Too Much For Clippers

Zach Randolph recorded his first triple-double of his career and the Los Angeles Clippers fell to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.
In a preview of what will most likely be a first round matchup between these two Western Conference foes, fans got a little taste of how this injury filled team has been able to stay afloat.
Chris Paul led the way in scoring with 25 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. DeAndre Jordan added 16 points with just 7 rebounds. Paul Pierce and Austin Rivers each reached double figures off the bench with 12 and 10 points respectively.
On the other side it was a night he won’t forget for Randolph. He had 28 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds to lead the way.
Tony Allen had a strong game on the offensive end chipping in 22 points. Ray McCallum stepped up and played well as he fills in for the injured Mike Conley and had 14 points.
Lance Stephenson got some revenge on his former team with 12 points n 28 minutes of play. JaMychal Green reached double figures off the bench with 11 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds.
The big difference in the game was the Grizzlies second half play. They outscored the Clippers 27-17 in the third quarter and LA could never respond. Los Angeles also lost the battle on the glass 44-30 including 18-4 on the offensive glass.
Los Angeles will have to put this loss behind them as they take on the New Orleans Pelicans today at 3:00 p.m.
