Yasmani Grandal To Open Season On DL

According to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal will start the season on the disabled list.

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register also reported the news.

Grandal is a former first round pick of the Cinancitani Reds in the 2010 MLB Draft. Grandal was a part of the blockbuster trade that sent Matt Kemp to the San Diego Padres.
Grandal starred in with his new club as he was named to his first All-Star Game of his career. He hit .234 with a OBP of .353 to go along with 16 home runs and 12 doubles.
