Yasiel Puig’s Sherman Oaks Home Burglarized

Yasiel Puig

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig‘s Sherman Oaks home was burglarized on Tuesday.

The unidentified suspect broke into his home and took approximately $170,000 in jewelry and other property valued close to a half million dollars.

The incident happened while the outfielder was in spring training in Arizona. No one was injured during the home invasion. At this time, the police have not made an arrest as the investigation is ongoing.

Puig is the latest in a string of high-profile celebrity burglaries. In late January, former Laker Derek Fisher‘s home was burglarized in Tarzana. Other celebs that were victimized include singers Alanis Morrissette and Nicki Minaj.

Puig is looking to bounce back after a up and down year that saw him spend time in the minor leagues for some of the season. The Dodgers need the talented outfielder to return to his old form. Los Angeles has some good depth after another off-season of strong signings.

As more information surfaces on the news we will keep you up to date. Los Angeles will continue their Spring Training as they approach the start of the new year.
