According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig will begin rehab assignment in Rancho Cucamonga today.

Puig suffered a hamstring injury on April 24th and has not played since.
J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles News Group also reported the news.
Yasiel Puig will DH tomorrow for Rancho Cucamonga, Mattingly said.

Puig is expected to play DH today and not play the field. They will work him back into the field in the days following his DH stint to monitor his progress.
Alex Guerrero and Andre Ethier have been taking Puig’s place during the injury.
It seems as though Yasiel Puig needs to watch out, he has some bat flipping competition in the form of Zack Greinke. Although Puig vouched to limit his bat flipping this season, but Greinke has started his own succession, and hey, a little competition never hurt anyone.
