Deolis Guerra Called Up By Angels

According to Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have called up pitcher Deolis Guerra.
The Angels called up Deolis Guerra. He took AJ Achter’s 25-man spot, and Al Alburquerque‘s 40-man spot. Alby was designated for assignment.

Guerra is originally from Venezuela and has spent a majority of his career in the minor leagues. He made his MLB debut last season with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He appeared in 10 games and pitched 16.2 innings. Guerra posted a 2-0 record with a 6.48 ERA. The Angels will take on the Baltimore Orioles this afternoon at 12:35 PST. The Angels lost last night on a 3-run shot in the top of the ninth inning.
