Williams Lifts Clippers In Wild One 113-112

Lou Williams hit a pull up 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds remaining and the Los Angeles Clippers won a wild one 113-112 on Saturday night in Los Angeles. With the team struggling this season this win will be huge for this team who had lost four in a row entering tonight.

Williams led the Clippers with 35 points and 8 assists while Danilo Gallinari added 25 points and 3 rebounds. Austin Rivers chipped in 16 points and 7 assists while Montrezl Harrell added 11 points off the bench. DeAndre Jordan scored 6 points but had a game-high 17 rebounds.

For Washington, they are dealing with an injury of their own. John Wall missed the game due to injury and Otto Porter stepped up with 27 points, 5 assists, and 11 rebounds. Bradley Beal had a strong game with 25 points and 3 assists. The Washington bench very well for the Wizards.

Mike Scott scored 22 points to go along with 8 rebounds. Ian Mahinmi added 14 points, and Tomas Satoransky had 11 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds. While both teams connected from three-point land it was the free throw differential that helped seal the win for Los Angeles. They connected on 21/24 attempts compared to the Wizards connecting on 15/23 from the strip.
