Myers is a former third round pick of the Kansas City Royals in the 2009 MLB Draft. He is having his best season of his young career.
So far this season with the Padres he is hitting .282 with 19 home runs and 57 RBI’s. He has 18 doubles and 13 stolen bases to go along with his impressive stats.
San Diego is struggling this year but Myers having a strong season is something to be happy about for Padres’ fans. He will be the only Padre to represent the club this season at Petco Park.
Congratulations Wil Myers!
