Myers has not played since last week because of the injury. Padres coach Bud Black was on the 1090 Radio when he spoke about the injury. Marty Caswell a Producer/Reporter of 1090 reported the news via Twitter.
Bud Black says Wil Myers wasn’t progressing enough…”He needs rest, the tendon needs rest… There’s no timetable for his return.”

Myers is hitting .291 with 5 home runs and 19 RBI’s so far this season. Hopefully he’ll be ready to go when he comes off the DL.
