Johnson has been a role player off the bench for Los Angeles in his 3 seasons with the team. Last season Johnson started 40 games and played in a total of 74 in what was an injury riddled season for the Clippers. Johnson’s length has made him an asset on the defensive side of the floor, averaging 1.0 steal and 0.8 blocks per game last season.
The 30 year-old forward will be entering his eighth season in the NBA after being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves 4th in the NBA Draft in 2010. Since leaving Minnesota, Johnson has played for the Phoenix Suns and in town Lakers. However Johnson’s longest tenure has been with the Doc Rivers led Clippers as he enters his fourth season with the team, spending no more than 2 seasons in his previous stops.
