In the history of the Los Angeles-San Diego Chargers, there are many of players that stand out. The organization has been home to the likes of Dan Fouts, Lance Alworth, Junior Seau, Ron Mix, and Johnny Unitas, all of these great players are in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame and now we can officially add the team’s greatest running back, LaDainian Tomlinson.
In his first year of eligibility, Tomlinson will be enshrined in Canton with former Los Angeles Rams quarterback Kurt Warner and five others this summer. The all-time leading rusher for the Chargers (12,490), scored 138 rushing touchdown in nine seasons with the team. A five-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time
NFL All-Pro Tomlinson won the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award in 2006 when he rushing for 1815 yards and scored an NFL record 28 touchdowns.
“My football journey is now complete, I can now always be referred to as LaDainian Tomlinson, NFL Hall Of
Famer,” Tomlinson said in a radio interview after he had learned he was elected to the Hall Of Fame.

Well deserved. Tomlinson deserves to be in the conversation when we discuss the best ever at the RB position. A complete player with an unrivaled competitive spirit. Great homage, LaVoy, to one of the best of all time!
