Weekly Reign Wrap-up: Team Grabs Two Huge Wins

A huge couple of wins last week placed the Ontario Reign into second place in the Pacific Division, only .014 percentage points ahead of the rival San Diego Gulls and .038 behind the first place Tucson Roadrunners.
Looking good with six games remaining rolling towards the playoffs, which according to Sports Club Stats, ranks the Reign with a 79.9 percent chance of making it to the big dance.
The next game is against the Bakersfield Condors at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 4 in an away match.
In last Friday’s match against the same Bakersfield team, the Reign trounced the Condors 6-0, with six different members netting a goal. Jonny Brodzinski scored a goal and had an assist. And T.J. Hensick fed two assists. Cal Petersen saved all 20 shots in the lopsided victory.
On the next day, the Reign was led by Matt Moulson with two goals and by Sean Walker with two assists and one goal in the 5-3 victory over the Cleveland Monsters. Goalie Scott Wedgewood blocked 30 of 33 shots.

Now the team looks to fight it out the next two weeks to finish out strong for another playoff season.
