Wayne Ellington Signs With Brooklyn Nets

According to Arash Markazi of ESPNLosAngeles.com, former Los Angeles Laker Wayne Ellington has reached an agreement with the Brooklyn Nets.

Ellington confirmed the news via his official Twitter account and thanked the Lakers fans for their support.

Last season Ellington’s father died unexpectedly and forced Wayne to take some time off to recover and morn. Ellington also reported via Twitter that he was excited to play in Brooklyn.

Ellington is a former first round pick of the Minnesota Timberwolves back in 2009. He has bounced around the league spending time with the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Lakers, and now Nets.
Ellington started in 36 games due to the injury of Kobe Bryant and averaged 10 points per game.
