According to Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post, the Washington Nationals have signed Dodgers pitcher Joe Blanton to a one-year deal.
The Nationals have signed Joe Blanton to a one-year deal, per source. He’s in town today, presumably for his physical.

Blanton is a former first round pick of the Oakland Athletics back in the 2002 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the A’s, Philadelphia Phillies, Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Kansas City Royals, and Pittsburgh Pirates throughout his career.
