All We Want For Christmas For The LA Kings/Ducks

Christmas is here and we are close to the half way point of the NHL season!

With the Los Angeles Kings leading the Pacific (or as my colleague Phil Loos likes to call it, the “Horrific”) Division with a 20-11-2 record and 42 points while the rival Anaheim Ducks are in last place with a 12-15-6 record and 30 points.  With a lot of hockey still to be played, the sample size to evaluate the performances of our favorite teams and players is large enough now for us to start getting an idea of where these teams truly stand and where their weaknesses may lie.  Since this is Christmas, the NHL department here for CaliSports News have decided to put on our favorite ugly (or in some opinions, beautiful) LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks Christmas sweaters, poured ourselves a cup of some hot cocoa and have gathered around the warm fireplace that we have here at the grand CaliSports News head offices.  After some team bonding by singing some classic Christmas carols and watching our favorite Christmas movies together (well except for my favorite.  Like how can no one else consider “Gremlins” to be one of the greatest Christmas movies ever!???), we finally got down to business and discussed what we all wanted to give our favorite teams for Christmas.  So sit back by your own open fire (and by that we mean a fireplace and fireplace only, so don’t get any ideas) and pour your own cup of hot cocoa as we present to you, ALL WE WANT FOR CHRISTMAS FOR THE LA KINGS AND DUCKS!  Enjoy!
