Vincent Lecavalier Still Plans To Retire

@CBSLA

According to Greg Bachman of the Associated Press, Los Angeles Kings Center Vincent Lecavalier is still planning on retiring.

Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com confirmed the news.

Lecavalier is a former number one overall selection in the 1998 NHL Draft. He spent 14 years of his career with the Tampa Bay Lightning before joining the Philadelphia Flyers and then the Kings.

Lecavalier won the Stanley Cup with the Lightning  in 2004. On the Flyers Lecavalier was not getting much ice time when the Kings traded for him and he played well with the club.

Lecavalier has had a tremendous career and jersey will hang in Amalie Arena sooner rather than later. Congratulations Vincent Lecavalier!
