Vermette Scores Winner Ducks Win 3rd Straight

Antoine Vermette scored the game-winner in a shootout and the Anaheim Ducks improved their win streak to 3 in a row. Anaheim was able to beat former Los Angeles Kings goaltender Martin Jones.
The offense got started in the first period when Joonas Donskoi scored a wrist shot goal to put the Sharks up 1-0. His 6th goal of the year was assisted by center Logan Couture.
It was all Anaheim in the second period. Corey Perry scored a wrist shot the goal that was his fourth of the year. Brandon Montour and Rickard Rakell were credited the assists. Rakell scored a goal later in the period to give Anaheim a 2-1 lead which was his eighth goal of the year. Perry and Montour were credited with the assists.
In the third period, Donskoi scored his second goal of the night. His goal was assisted by Tomas Hertl and Daniel O’Regan were credited the assists.
Donskoi, Reto Berra, and Martin Jones were the 3-Stars of the game.
Anaheim will host the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday night at the Honda Center.
