Vancouver Canucks Vs. LA Kings Preview

The LA Kings will take on the Vancouver Canucks at the Staples Center on Tuesday night. Los Angeles comes into tonight’s game with some fresh legs after the big overtime win over the Blackhawks on Saturday.

Vancouver is coming off a game in which they were shut out by the Anaheim Ducks 4-0 last night. The Canucks are dealing with a few issues.

They will be without Jake Virtanen who is dealing with an upper-body injury. Chris Tanev is suffering from an undisclosed issue and is considered questionable as of this writing. Chris Higgins is also listed as out for this game as he is suffering a upper body injury.

As Jeff educated me the Canucks are lead by the Sedin twins. Henrik Sedin was on a six game point streak but that came to a end last night. Daniel Sedin leads the team with 27 points on the season with 11 goals and 16 assists. Henrik is at 23 points with 8 goals and 15 assists.

Jonathan Quick is expected to be back in goal tonight. He is 7-2 in his last night home games and the Kings will look for him to have a strong performance against the Canucks.

With Vancouver playing last night the LA Kings need to take advantage of tired legs and win this game at home.
