Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register confirmed the news.
It’s now official. Tyler Skaggs will start for the #Angels on Tuesday. His first major league game since 7/31/14.

Skaggs hasn’t pitched in the majors since July of 2014. He was a showing promise that season before suffering from an elbow injury that ended up requiring Tommy John surgery.
It’s been a long and hard road for Skaggs to get back to this point but he has shown his ability at the Triple-A level this season.
