Trumaine Johnson Named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

According to the official Twitter account of the Los Angeles Rams CB Trumaine Johnson has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Andrew Siciliano of the NFL Network reported some news on Johnson.

Johnson is a former third round pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. He has spent his entire career with the club. Last season with the Rams he played and started in 14 games.
He recovered 1 fumble and made 57 tackles. Johnson had a specular week as he led the Rams to a 46-9 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Johnson has 17 career interceptions and 264 career tackles. The Rams will take on the Washington Redskins at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Sunday.
