Trayce Thompson Lands On 15-Day DL

According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Dodgers have placed outfielder Trayce Thompson on the 15-day disabled list.

Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.
Trayce Thompson was placed on the DL. Zach Walters has been called up.

The Dodgers confirmed the news.
The Dodgers placed Trayce Thompson on the 15-day DL (lower back irritation), retroactive to July 10, and recalled IF-OF Zach Walters.

The Dodgers are already down an outfielder with Joc Pederson on the disabled list. Scott Van Slyke is expected to step up and receive some additional playing time.
Thompson was traded to the Dodgers this offseason from the Chicago White Sox. So far this season he has hit 13 home runs and has shown promise to be a contributor for years to come.
