The Toronto Raptors will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers tonight. The Lakers are coming off a tough loss to the Minnesota TimberWolves. Click here to read the recap.
It will be tough for the Raptors as they will be without their top scorer DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan is averaging 19.4 points per game this season. He is ruled out indefinitely as he has torn a tendon in his ankle according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

James Johnson will get an increase of minutes with DeRozan out of the lineup. Raptors coach Dwayne Casey spoke on the matter with ESPN reporters.
“James is going to have a tough task because he’s learning the 3 and the 4 offensively so he’s in a tough position in a sense because now we’re going to need that extra body at the 3 with DeMar out,” Casey said.
Even without DeRozan in the lineup it will still be a tough task for the Lakers. The Raptors have 5 players on their roster who average double-digit scoring, giving them a balanced offense.
The Raptors have a high powered offense, as they rank 2nd in the league in scoring at almost 108 points per game. That will be a big problem for the Lakers as they give up a league worst 114 a night.
One thing is for certain there will be a lot of scoring in this game. Let’s just hope the Lakers come out on top.
