The Final Four of the Stanley Cup playoffs has been set and the rival Anaheim Ducks are battling the mighty Chicago Blackhawks for Western Conference supremacy.  Many say whoever wins this series will probably go on to win the Stanley Cup. Who cares you ask? Well I know I don’t!  Instead of watching that series (even though I’m sure it’s gonna be great) and feeling bad about the Los Angeles Kings not making this year’s playoffs, I decided to go down that rabbit hole otherwise known as YouTube and see what I can find to cheer me up?  After an epic journey that had many twists and turns, glorious ups and heartbreaking downs, inspiring moments of awe and head shaking feelings of doubt (you know, like how it regularly feels to be a Kings fan), I ended up finding the perfect 10 (plus) YouTube videos that can cheer up even the most grumpy and saddest Kings fan in all the land!  That’s right, I proudly bring to you the countdown to the greatest top 10 LA Kings’ playoffs series of all time… Part 1!  So stop drowning in your sorrows and click off your television and forget about the current NHL playoffs.  And let’s take this trip through memory lane together and journey through part 1 of this countdown of our beloved team’s greatest playoff moments!

    Great work Lori! I love the rundown and agree. I’m not sure who is available for free agency on defense, but that’s definitely an area that should be addressed with the retirement of Regehr and possible split from Voynov with his legal issues. I liked what I saw from McNabb, and I have always loved McBain since his days in Carolina. However, I think parting with McBain for another key defensive piece via trade or whatever may be a good idea.
