Timofey Mozgov Injures Tailbone

According to Bill Oram of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Lakers center Timofey Mozgov injured his tailbone in last night’s preseason game against the Golden State Warriors.
Timofey Mozgov has a bruised tailbone and won’t return tonight, per Lakers. They’ll reevaluate tomorrow and have an update.

Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.
Timofey Mozgov said he should be fine for next week when the regular season opens. Wasn’t worth pushing it in preseason. #Lakers

Mozgov did have a block last night on Kevin Durant that got the fans excited.

Mozgov should be available for the Lakers preseason finale and the start of the 2016-2017 campaign. He will be checked out today to see if there is any further damage.
