Timberwolves Overpower Clippers 107-91

The Minnesota Timberwolves (25-37) overpowered the Los Angeles Clippers (38-25) on Wednesday night 107-91. With the win the T’wolves have won two out of their last three games.
DeAndre Jordan led the Clippers in scoring. He had 20 points and 13 rebounds. Blake Griffin chipped in 16 while J.J. Redick added 14. Marreese Speights and Austin Rivers reached double figures off the bench with 12 and 10 points respectively.
For Minnesota Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers with 29 points and 14 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins added 20, and Shabazz Muhammad chipped in 17 points of his own. Ricky Rubio continued his strong play with 15 points and 12 assists.
The big difference in this game was rebounding. Minnesota out rebounded the Clippers 50-36 included 36-26 on the defensive boards.
Los Angeles will look to bounce back tonight against Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, and the rest of the talented Memphis Grizziles at the FedExForum. The club will need to take these games seriously as they approach the final stretch of the regular season.
