Thunder’s Big 3rd Quarter Overwhelms Lakers

The Oklahoma City Thunder used a big third quarter to overwhelm the Los Angles Lakers 114-90 Wednesday night. Los Angeles has now lost two in a row.
Julius Randle led the Lakers in scoring with 16 points, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 10 points before leaving the game with an ankle injury. Brandon Ingram returned to the lineup after missing a few games with an injury he scored 8 points.
For Oklahoma City, Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 27 points. Steven Adams recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Russell Westbrook chipped in 19 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Paul George reached double-figures with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Oklahoma City dominated the glass outrebounding Los Angeles 54-30 including 21-6 on the offensive glass.
Los Angeles has struggled to guard over the last few games and will need to pick up their defensive efforts if they want to get back in the win column.
Los Angeles will look to bounce back at home on Friday night against Victor Olapio and the Indiana Pacers.
