The Battle Of Los Angeles Goes To The Lakers, 112-103.

In the most anticipated game of the season and a game that the Los Angeles Lakers needed, the Lakers finally took one from the Los Angeles Clippers, 112-103.

Paul George was hot at the beginning of this game, scoring 31 points to lead the Clippers, but the Lakers kept pace with the Clippers. At the half, the Clippers held a 53-49 lead. Paul George led the scoring with 19 points, Lebron had 16, Davis 15 and Kawhi Leonard had 12. Neither team shot over 45 percent in the first half.

Adrian Bradley had a season-high with 24 points and was outstanding and his play took some of the scoring load off James and Davis. Bradley went 9 of 17 from the floor and 6 of 12 from the three-point line. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard ended the game with 27 points. Patrick Beverly only scored 2 points but had several run-ins with LeBron which almost lead to both
players getting ejected.

LeBron James kicked into high gear with his hustle, grit as he wasn’t going to let the Clippers beat this team today. The
Lakers are now 42-0 after leading after three quarters this season.

The Lakers (49-13) will remain at home to host the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night The Nets have announced that they have mutually agreed to part ways with Head Coach Kenny Atkinson. The Clippers (43-20) will travel to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors as they are coming off an upset win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Lakers now hold a 6.5 lead over the Clippers for the top spot in the Western Conference.
