Tempers Flair In Lakers Loss To Pelicans

The Los Angeles Lakers saw head coach Luke Walton and point guard Isiah Thomas get ejected. They watched All-Star Anthony Davis go for 42 points and the club fell 139-117 on Wednesday night.
Davis had 42 points and 15 rebounds and Jrue Holiday recorded a double-double with 24 points and 11 assists.
E’Twaun Moore reached double-figures with 14 points. Darius Miller had 19 points off the bench and Nikola Mirotic had 16 points and 7 rebounds.
Rajon Rondo and Isiah Thomas were both ejected the first quarter. Rondo made public statements against the Thomas when the Celtics announced they were going to honor Thomas’ contributions.
For Los Angeles, Kyle Kuzma scored a team-high 23 points. Brandon Ingram added 21 points and 5 assists, while Julius Randle added 20 points.
Josh Hart scored 15 points and had 6 assists. Los Angeles will play their final game before the All-Star break in Minnesota at the Target Center.
Los Angeles turned the ball over 20 times in the contest.
