Learned from reliable source in 2INT he suffered broken ankle; hockey ops just confirmed. Also heard broken lower leg may be more accurate.

The Kings loss to the Winnipeg Jets last night in a shootout 5-4, but the bigger story was Pearson going down. Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles times reported that Pearson will undergo further tests today.
Pearson to have more tests Sun. Team will know more but bottom line that it is broken left ankle, as noted earlier by @lakingsinsider

Earlier in the day the Pearson had been named to participate in the rookie skills competition. That is most likely out of the question after tonight’s injury.
Tanner Pearson is currently tied for second on the team in points and will be a major loss for the team if he is out a long time.
Kings fans across the internet expressed their concerns and showed their support for Pearson.
