Suns Use Big Second Half to Beat Lakers

The Phoenix Suns used a big second half to beat the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night 119-107. Los Angeles was coming off a win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.

Julius Randle led the way with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Kobe Bryant also chipped in 17 points in 28 minutes of play.

D’Angelo Russell  scored 14 points and Jordan Clarkson added 13. Lou Williams added 11 points off the bench with Brandon Bass reached double figures with 10.

Devin Booker had  solid game with 28 points and 7 assists. Brandon Knight flirted with a triple-double with 25 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds.

Jon Leuer had a huge night recording a double-double. Leuer had 22 points and 14 rebounds. Mirza Teletovic reached double figures off the bench with 17 points.

Los Angeles struggled on the defensive end of the basketball. They allowed Phoenix to shoot 51% from the field including 46% from behind the arch.

The Lakers always got beat up on the glass, 52-41. Everything was clicking for the Suns who also had 31 assists compare to the LA’s 13.
