Steven Hauschka Hits FG, Chargers Fall 16-15

Steven Hauschka hit a 60 yard field goal with 16 seconds remaining as the San Diego Chargers fell to the Seattle Seahawks 16-15. With the loss the Chargers record is now 2-1 in the preseason.
In the first quarter the Chargers took a early 3-0 lead. Nick Novak hit a 32 yard field goal to put the Chargers ahead.
The Seahawks got on the board thanks to a punt return. Tyler Lockett took Mike Scifres punt 67 yards back for a touchdown as Lockett’s preseason magic continued. This gave the Seahawks a 7-3 lead.
The Chargers answered back to end the half with less than a minute left in the half. Josh Lambo hit a 40 yard field goal to cut the lead to 1.
It was the Seahawks who worked their magic and with 6 seconds to go in the half Hauschka hit a 40 yard field goal of his own. This gave the Hawks a 10-6 lead heading into halftime.
Hauschka nailed a 27 yard field goal in the 3rd quarter to push the lead to 13-6. Kellen Clemens threw the first touchdown pass of the game to Branden Oliver for 70 yards. The Chargers went for two and failed and so they trailed 13-12 heading into the 4th quarter.
In the 4th, Novak hit a 52 yard go ahead field goal to give the Bolts a 15-13 lead.
Hauschka hit a game winning 60 yard field goal to give the Hawks the 16-15 victory over the Bolts.
The San Diego Chargers will conclude their preseason when they take on the San Franciso 49ers at Levi Stadium on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. PST
