Steven Gerrard & Robbie Keane Withdraw From All-Star Game

Bad news LA Galaxy fans, you won’t be seeing Steven Gerrard or Robbie Keane play on the MLS All-Star team on Wednesday.

Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane have been listed as injured, alongside US captain, Michael Bradley. As a result of the injuries, five players have been added to the lineup. They include: Colorado midfielder Sam Cronin, Columbus midfielder Ethan Finlay and Waylon Francis, and our very own forward Gyasi Zardes and midfielder Juninho.

Juninho has racked up four goals and three assists so far this year, and this will mark his third All-Star game.

The lineups are as follows, as reported by ESPN.com:

Goalkeepers: David Ousted (Vancouver Whitecaps), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

Defenders: DaMarcus Beasley (Houston Dynamo), Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Laurent Ciman (Montreal Impact), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Chad Marshall (Seattle Sounders), Drew Moor (Colorado Rapids), Waylon Francis (Columbus Crew SC)

Midfielders: Fabian Castillo (FC Dallas), Benny Feilhaber (Sporting Kansas City), Kaka (Orlando City SC), Dax McCarty (New York Red Bulls), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City), Sam Cronin (Colorado Rapids), Ethan Finlay (Columbus Crew SC), Juninho (LA Galaxy)

Forwards: Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders), Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC), Kei Kamara (Columbus Crew SC), David Villa (New York City FC), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)

The game will be played against Tottenham Hotspur as a part of the preseason tour. You can watch it at 9 pm ET on FOX Sports 1, UniMás; TSN and RDS in Canada.
