Steve Nash Injured After Hurting Back Carrying Bags
- Updated: October 15, 2014
The veteran Laker, Steve Nash, is hurt again. It seems as though it is just one thing after another for him.
The 40-year-old, two-time NBA MVP injured his back today while carrying bags.
Eric Pincus of the Los Angeles Times reports Byron Scott saying this about the injury, “Steve, today, kind of hurt his back,” Scott said. “He had a little bit of a setback, just kind of carrying some bags or something. He [felt] a twinge in his back.”
Tim Botemps took to Twitter to analyze Steve Nash’s injury.
The fact that Steve Nash hurt his back lifting bags doesn’t lead to much optimism about him making it through the season healthy.

This season will mark the final year of Nash’s contract with the Lakers, which may very well turn out to be his last in the NBA. He has been plagued with an ailing back and other leg injuries since bringing his talents to L.A.
