Los Angeles Lakers’ Steve Nash Hurt Again?

According to Arash Markazi of ESPNLosAngeles.com, Steve Nash is struggling with some type of injury. Markazi reported that Steve Nash asked to be pulled from last night’s blowout loss  against the Golden State Warriors.

Byron Scott had this to say about Steve Nash and the mysterious injury.

“We talked a little bit before the game, and he said he just wasn’t feeling quite right. But he wanted to play, he wanted to give it a try,” Lakers coach Byron Scott said. “After the first quarter he said, ‘Coach, you know what, I’m done.’ “I don’t know what’s really going on with him, but he said he didn’t feel quite right.”

Looking in on that quote it is not very clear on what is actually bothering Steve Nash at this point.  One thing that is for certain is that Nash is a fighter and will continue to try to fight through these ailments in order to finish his career on the highest note possible. It is more than likely that Nash will be battling some sort of injury all season due to his age and injuries from last season.  It is reported by Markazi that Steve Nash’s status for Thursday’s game against the Utah Jazz has yet to be determined. It is very important to note that Steve Nash will turn 41 in February. At this stage of his career it will be very interesting to see just how much he actually plays this season. He was limited to only 15 games last year due to a number of various injuries.
