Stephen Curry, Warriors Cruise Past Clippers 121-104

The Los Angeles Clippers (3-2) took on the Golden State Warriors (4-0) last night and suffered defeat 121-104.
Stephen Curry scored 28 points and dished out 7 assists while Draymond Green chipped in a career high 24 points. The Warriors shot the ball extremely well especially from three point land. The Warriors connected on 15-25 from behind the arc, an outstanding 60%.
Klay Thompson continued his hot start to the season. He added 19 points, and Andrew Bogut put his mark on the game collecting 14 rebounds. On a side note the Warriors also shot a perfect 20-20 from the free throw line.
For the Clippers Jamal Crawford led the way in scoring off the bench. He scored 24 points included 3 three pointers. Chris Paul had a double-double and ended up with 15 points and 12 assists, but shot just 6-15 from the field.
DeAndre Jordan had his best game of the year so far. He scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Clippers head coach Doc Rivers had this to say about the loss according to ESPN.com:
“I saw a beautiful game from one team,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. “They are a better team right now and by a lot.”
The Warriors took off from the start and the Clippers were never able to recover. The Warriors lead was as high as 25 in the second quarter they cruised to the victory. Stephen Curry reflected on the win with this statement:
“You’ve got to be able to enjoy it,” Curry said. “We’re playing well right now.”
The Clippers next contest will be against the Portland Trial Blazers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Big Baby Glen Davis is expected to make his season debut on Saturday.
