St. Louis Blues Vs. Los Angeles Kings Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: December 18, 2014
The Los Angeles Kings will take on the St. Louis Blues at home tonight in a rematch. The Kings ran out of gas in their last game of a 5 game road trip and fell to the Blues 5-2 on Tuesday night.
Tonight will be the start of a four game home stand for the Kings. Anze Kopitar discussed the importance of this bounce back game with Kings official site.
“Yeah, you want to beat the Blues obviously, especially after the game like it was (Tuesday),”Anze Kopitar told the Kings’ official site. “You want to come out Thursday and, I guess, have a little revenge.”
While the Kings have struggled with consistency issues Drew Doughty spoke with the LAkings.com about what the issue could be.
I don’t know what it is,” Doughty said. “We need more consistency from all of our players. Some guys show up one night, and then they don’t the other. We need everyone to show up every single night. That’s how we’re going to win games. We need our top players to play their best and outplay their top players, and we need our other role guys to outplay their role guys.”
The Kings will look to get back on track at home as they are quickly digging themselves a hole in the Pacific division standings.
For the Blues they have now won five in a row and playing excellent hockey. According to ESPN.com Martin Brodeur will most likely get the start in-goal for the Blues. He has not faced the Kings since 2011.
