According to Dennis Lin of UT-San Diego, San Diego Padres pitcher Shawn Kelley threw to live hitters on Monday.
Padres RHP Shawn Kelley just threw live BP at Petco Park. His DL stint (left calf strain) is retroactive to April 23.

Kelley was placed on the disabled list a few days ago and all signs point that he won’t be on that list for long.
Corey Brock of MLB.com also reported the news.

Kelley hasn’t exactly shinned in 2015. So far he has made 6 appearances and sports a 0-2 record with a 10.13 ERA. In his 5.1 innings of work he has allowed 6 runs.
Hopefully this time on the DL will serve well for the struggling relief pitcher. We’ll keep you up to date on his progress.
