Sharks Beat Ducks 3-0

The San Jose Sharks beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-0 in game one of the Stanley Cup Quarterfinals. For Anaheim, they have now loss home-ice advantage and will have to handle win at least one game on the road to win the series.
The story of the night was Evander Kane. Kane who had never been to the postseason until now made his debut and left a mark on the game.
In the second period, he scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Joe Pavelski and Thomas Hertl. A few minutes later he scored his second goal of the night with a backhanded shot that put the Sharks up 2-0. That goal was assisted by Pavelski and Brenden Dillon.
Brent Burns capped off the third period with a snap shot goal that was assisted by Timo Meier. Martin Jones made 25 saves in the shutout victory.
Anaheim will need to bounce back in order to even the series at one game apiece. Game two will be played at the Honda Center on Saturday night.
