Shane Robinson Contract Purchased

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have purchased the contract of Shane Robinson.
I believe Shane Robinson had an out in his minor league deal for today. Robinson, 31, has .651 OPS in 351 big lg games w STL, MIN.

Unofficial now, but looks like Angels have added AJ Achter and Shane Robinson. Craig Gentry likely on DL. Matt Shoemaker not here. Optioned?

Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reported that Robinson will be starting today.
Shane Robinson is up from Triple-A and starting in LF, which could mean Craig Gentry (back spasms) is on the DL. Nothing official.

Robinson is a former 5th round pick of the St.Louis Cardinals in the 2006 MLB draft. Robinson sent five years with the Cardinals before joining the Minnesota Twins.
