Shane Robinson Activated From DL

According to Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have activated outfielder Shane Robinson from the disabled list.
The Angels are not calling up Tim Lincecum or Jumpin’ John Giavotella, at least not yet. They did activate Shane Robinson from the DL, tho.

Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register also reported the news.

Robinson is an original 5th round pick of the 2006 MLB Draft. He spent 5 years with the St. Louis Cardinals before joining the Minnesota Twins last year and the Angels this season.
This year with the Angels he has played in 51 games and is batting .181. Robinson will get a chance to prove his worth as the season winds down.
