Sergio Santos Heading To Dodgers?
- Updated: December 29, 2014
According to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers are nearing an agreement with right handed pitcher Sergio Santos.
#Dodgers expected to sign RHP Sergio Santos (ex-Mater Dei SS) to minor league deal. @bnicholsonsmith had Santos near deal w/NL West team.

Santos recorded 30 saves for the Chicago White Sox back in 2011 but has struggled to stay healthy ever since. Last season he was on the Toronto Blue Jays and made 26 appearances, recording 5 saves.
Sources say that the deal with the Dodgers will most likely be a minor league deal. With that being said it will be a low risk high reward situation for the Dodgers.
For a bullpen that struggled mightily last season if Santos can find his health he could add depth to that department. The Dodgers will add yet another name to their list of additions this offseason.
