Scott Van Slyke still hasn’t been cleared to do any baseball activity. He’s probably down until at least June.

Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reported progression of the injury last week.
What is Scott Van Slyke (lower back) doing while on DL? “He’s working on breathing,” Dave Roberts said. (Core strength) #Dodgers

Van Slyke is a former 14th round pick of the Dodgers in the 2006 MLB draft. He has spent his entire Major League career with the Dodgers making it to the big leagues back in 2012.
Last season with the Dodgers he played in 96 games and hit .239. He has the ability to play the outfield and first base which should come in handy for manager Dave Roberts throughout the season.
