Scott Kazmir Removed From Rehab Start

@mlbtraderumors

According to J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Scott Kazmir was removed from his rehab start in Triple-A Oklahoma City last night.

Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

DiGiovanna recorded further details.

Kazmir left the game due to neck and rib discomfort which is not a good sign for the Dodger faithful. Los Angeles is hoping to have both Kazmir and ace Clayton Kershaw back in the rotation before the playoffs roll around.

Kazmir will most likely pitch another rehab start before recalling him back to the Majors. Los Angeles will have an off-day today before taking on the Miami Marlins in Miami on Friday.

Kershaw is expected to square off against Jose Fernandez. As more information surfaces on the Dodgers and their injury news we will keep you up to date.
