The San Diego Padres scored four runs in the ninth inning last night to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers for their first win in 2015 last night. Tonight these two teams will face off in the final game of their three game series.

For the Padres Andrew Cashner will take the mound. Last season Cashner posted a 5-7 record with a 2.55 ERA in 19 games. He started on Opening Day and allowed just one run in the Padres 3-1 victory over the Dodgers.

New additions for the Padres made plenty of noise so far this season. Matt Kemp was excellent on Opening Day. Derek Norris had a two-run double in ninth last nights, and Craig Kimbrel struck out the side in his first appearance of the Frias.

Speaking of new additions Brandon McCarthy will make his Dodger debut tonight. McCarthy spent time in the NL West last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks before being traded to the New York Yankees will get a chance to work through the fierce Padre lineup.

He sported a 10-15 record with a 4.05 ERA last season before signing a 4 year, $48 million dollar deal with Dodgers this winter. He did struggle in Spring Training and will look to put that behind him tonight.

The Dodgers hope Adrian Gonzalez continues his streak of home runs as he has it one in each game so far.
