San Diego Padres Activate OF Matt Szczur

According to Bill Center of Padres.com, the San Diego Padres have activated outfielder Matt Szczur.
The #Padres have activated OF Matt Szczur from the family leave list and optioned LHP Kyle McGrath to Triple-A El Paso

Szczur is a former fifth round pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 2010 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Cubs and Padres throughout his career.
So far this season Szczur has played in 73 games and is batting .208. He has 3 home runs and 10 RBI’s on the season. Szczur was placed on the family leave list for the last few days and will not rejoin his teammates in St.Louis as the club takes on the Cardinals.
San Diego will try and finish this season on a strong note.
