The San Diego Chargers will host the Oakland Raiders tonight in San Diego, California.

The Chargers are looking to beat division rivals in their matchup today. In the Chargers last game, they took a loss against the Miami Dolphins. They lost to the Dolphins 0-37. To read a recap of that game, click here.

“The Chargers (5-4) remained winless in South Florida since January 1982, a stretch that includes eight consecutive losses to the Dolphins. A midseason swoon worsened with their third loss in a row.

“We’ll get this back on track, I promise you,” coach Mike McCoy said. “No doubt in my mind.”

San Diego was shut out for the first time since 1999, while the Dolphins earned their first shutout since 2006. Every Miami victory this season has been by double digits, and this was the most lopsided yet.

Tannehill had a career-high passer rating of 125.6 when he called it a day after three quarters. He went 24 for 34 with no turnovers and threw touchdown passes to Charles Clay, Rishard Matthews and Jarvis Landry. He also ran for 47 yards on four carries.”

The Oakland Raiders are struggling very much so far this season and they are still looking for their first win of the NFL season. Don’t mistake their losses for pity though. The Oakland Raiders are far from feeling sorry for themselves.

“We’re pros, man,” wide receiver James Jones said. “I wish we were 9-0, but you’ve got to go to work and have a positive attitude every time you come out here. The only thing that is going to change it is us.”

“Nobody’s going to feel sorry for us, and we’re damned sure not going to feel sorry for ourselves,” defensive end Justin Tuck said.

“Saying, ‘Why me?’ is having a pity party and looking for an excuse,” linebacker Sio Moore said. “Saying ‘Why not me?’ is taking on the challenge of being where we’re at now and understanding the criticism that comes with it.”

Let’s hope the San Diego Chargers have rested up and can rebound from that awful 37-0 loss.
