San Diego Chargers Sign OL Melvin Meggs

According to Erick Williams of ESPN.com the San Diego Chargers have agreed to a contract with Melvin Meggs.
Chargers waived-injured OL Ben Beckwith, sign OL Melvin Meggs, a 6-2, 299-pound South Alabama product. Cut by Chiefs in June.

Meggs played his college ball at South Alabama. He missed his entire 2013 season due to an injury and returned for his senior season 2014.
It was announced early in the summer that he had a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs before being cut. Micheal Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune also reported the news of the signing.

The Chargers also waived Ben Beckwith. Beckwith was a All-SEC offensive lineman last season with Mississippi State. He went undrafted and signed with the Chargers this offseason.
