The Los Angeles Clippers will return home tonight to take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5. The Clippers are currently even Stevens with the Spurs. The series sits at 2-2.
The Clippers pulled off an exciting win on Sunday afternoon. Chris Paul had 34 points and went 11-19, he said the following, as reported by NBA.com:
“We tried to come out aggressive, on both ends, offensively and defensively,” Paul told the team’s official website. “We’ve got to find a way to not let things like Game 3 happen for us, and respond like this. The great teams come out that way regardless, and hopefully we learned something.”
Chris Paul wasn’t the only one who dominated, Jamal Crawford also spoke about the game:
“I could sense it right away, it was a different feeling the first five minutes of the game,” Redick said. “Tonight, we were the aggressive team from the start.”
Greg Popvich was not too pleased with Kawhi Leonard‘s 26 points, or at least, let’s say he’s expecting more from his Defensive Player of the Year:
“No matter who we had on him, both Kawhi and Danny, didn’t do a very good job of playing him the way he needs to be played, so he had the better of them through the whole evening for sure.”
Tonight the Clippers could take the lead and go 3-2 up! Remember, it ain’t over till Chris and Blake say so!
Let’s go Clippers! Be Relentless!!
