SA Spurs Vs. LA Clippers Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: November 10, 2014
The San Antonio Spurs (2-3) will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers (4-2) tonight. The Clippers are coming off a win against the Portland Trail Blazers, thanks to J.J. Redick’s big night. For more on that performance click here.
The Spurs have struggled so far this year. A little of the struggle may be the championship hangover. It may be due to the fact that opposing teams are giving the Spurs their best shot every single night.
Head coach Greg Popovich told ESPN.com about the slow:
“I understand a year after winning the championship you’re going to get everyone’s best shot,” coach Gregg Popovich said. “I believe we’re out there playing hard and I believe things just haven’t gone out way.”
The Clippers and Spurs are two teams with championship aspirations. While the Spurs have dominated the Clippers in recent history the Clippers will look to try to get even. This may be the time do so. Offense is one of the Spurs strengths, and so far this season it has not been the case. Currently, they rank in the bottom of the NBA in scoring, field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, and turnovers.
Spurs fans should have no worries however as they will surely pick it up in the coming weeks. The Clippers have not been playing their best basketball either. They had strung together a few ugly wins, before getting embarrassed on national television against the Warriors. However, they did bounce back with the nice win over the Blazers.
Chris Paul has been brilliant so far this season, and will look to continue his strong play against Tony Parker and the Spurs.
