Ryan Getzlaf Recovering From Sports Hernia

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf is dealing with a sports hernia but will not require surgery.
Also, Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf played through a sports hernia injury, which won’t require any surgery. Rehab over the summer.

Getzlaf toughed it off with the injury and not will take the summer to recover. Greg Beacham of the Associated Press also reported the news of the injury.
Ryan Getzlaf finished the Ducks’ playoffs with a sports hernia, but he won’t need surgery. C Nate Thompson is having shoulder surgery Thurs.

The Ducks captain was great for the team all season. He scored 25 goals and had 45 assists this season. The official Twitter account of the Ducks also confirmed the news of the injury.
